Cenospheres are hollow spherical particles made of fly ash that can float on the water surface. They are grayish-white, have thin hollow walls, and are lightweight. The chemical composition of floating beads mainly consists of silicon dioxide and aluminum oxide. They possess characteristics such as fine particles, hollow structure, light weight, high strength, wear resistance, high temperature resistance, insulation property, fire resistance, and flame retardancy. They are widely used as raw materials in one of the sectors of the refractory materials industry.
